News from State President

Dear Sisters,                                                                                       October 2026

Happy Fall!  Along with the cooler weather and changing leaves, it is also a special month for the Columbiettes.

- October is the Month of the Holy Rosary.  Praying the rosary is very special to us.  Some of us pray it each day,  some Auxiliaries pray it before their meeting, and we always pray it at our State Convention. As we pray to our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, we pray to one of our Patronesses.

- October 1st was the Feast Day of St Therese of Lisieux, another of our Patronesses.  She is the Patron Saint of sickness, tuberculosis and loss of parents.

On our GA State website, there’s a new item called “The Franciscan Crown Rosary”.  It is a 7-decade devotion meditating on Mary’s seven greatest joys on earth.  Very nice… check it out!  Thank you to St Joan of Arc’s Catholic Action Committee.

Lastly, as announced, we will have our 2nd Annual State Retreat at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Hartwell.  Look for the “Save the Date” to be out soon!

Our next State meeting will be 3 November @ 7pm via ZOOM.

God Bless,

Mary
